When thinking about my childhood, I remember I felt happy and loved. However when I look around the world, many unhappy children suffering from poverty, abuse and bullying.

I imagined what made my childhood happy and what is important for children's lives.  I made children's wear with the five motifs of health, family, education, play, and smile to wish that all the children will have all of these and have happy lives.

I combined the technique of traditional Japanese kata dye and silk screen printing to dye the patterns on fabrics.
